Dubai City Tour: Supercar Spotting Along the Way
Whenever there was a spare moment on my Dubai city tour,
I found myself checking out the supercars.
(Basically, an excuse to empty my camera roll into a post.)

When you visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE, a full-day
or half-day sightseeing tour is practically a must-do.

The whole city is far more dazzling than I expected.
The towering buildings and shopping malls are impressive, but
so are the luxury cars—Lamborghinis and Bentleys
are just part of the everyday scenery.
(Yes, I was happily indulging my own interests.)

Of course, the city itself is gorgeous, too.
(But seriously, supercars are everywhere you look.)
Only in Dubai!
Check Out the Dubai City Tour
(One great perk: you can book as late as the morning of the tour.)
Even though I don’t know much about cars,
I kept stopping to stare and thinking, “Wow, look at that.”
Let’s Go Supercar Spotting

This 1970s Chrysler
Cordoba
is apparently a first-generation model.
A classic car popular in the United States in the 1970s,
it’s described as a two-door personal luxury coupe.

This looks like a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster
variant, and that neon-green paint is surprisingly cute.
The sleek body housing a V12 engine
and the striking taillight design
really caught my eye.

Next up: a Lamborghini Gallardo
(yes, another Lamborghini), or a variant of one.
The Gallardo is a supercar, too, but the Aventador above
was Lamborghini’s flagship model at the time,
so apparently there’s quite a price gap between them!

The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL,
the W113 “Pagoda,”
is another iconic Mercedes from the 1960s and 1970s.
This classic roadster is highly collectible when well maintained,
and pristine Pagodas still command
high prices on the classic-car market.
So shiny, and so beautiful.

Here’s a Bentley Continental GT
(the Continental grand tourer from Bentley).
It has that substantial presence you expect from a luxury grand tourer,
with an unmistakably elegant feel.
I love that vivid green paint.

This appears to be an Indian Scout variant.
With its brown leather seat and saddlebags,
it has serious classic-cruiser charm!

The BMW S 1000 R
is a naked bike based on the S 1000 RR supersport model.
Its styling looks a little less aggressive,
but it still packs plenty of performance!

This Lamborghini Huracán
is the brightest yellow.
Somehow, the color really suits its name.

This looks like a Mercedes-Benz W111 Cabriolet variant,
an iconic Mercedes open-top car from the 1960s.
Well-preserved examples are rare and highly prized,
making it a real collector’s classic.

Here’s a Suzuki Jimny,
an older open-top model.
Such an unusual little shape.
It’s tiny—isn’t it cute?

The Bentley Continental GT V8 S
manages to look both elegant and sporty,
just as a luxury GT should.
(Somehow, this city sightseeing review
turned into a car-spotting post. I’ll get back to the actual tour next time!)
If you’re taking a Dubai city tour,
keep an eye out for the cars along the way, too!
